Storey Park - Proposed community centre and childcare facility...have your say!
Hornsby Shire Council is seeking to redevelop the community facilities on the upper level of Storey Park to include a new community centre and childcare centre. Currently the Asquith Community Centre located at 10x Old Berowra Road, Hornsby consists of a large hall with kitchen and enclosed yard. It is used by a number of community groups.
The proposed redevelopment would include several small classroom sized rooms as well as a larger hall with stage. This would allow for several groups to use the centre simultaneously. The proposed plans also include a 72 place childcare centre and a publicly accessible children's playground.
